Abby Vaughn joined American Trust Wealth Management in 2017 as the Business Development Director. She is responsible for cultivating strong relationships with clients, prospects and financial partners overseeing all aspects of the client experience from first contact to the smooth transfer of assets and ongoing service. Abby earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation in 2017 joining a prestigious network of professionals dedicated to advancing fiduciary responsibility. Abby brings over 30 years of experience and expertise to the team, including 23 years of investment sales experience. Prior to joining American Trust, Mrs. Vaughn worked at UBS Financial Services for over three years as VP Wealth Management/Business Development Specialist obtaining her Series 7 license, Central Bank & Trust as VP Retail Banking Officer for 16 years obtaining her insurance license and Fifth Third Banks’s Investment Advisory Division as VP/Private Bank Officer for 10 years.
Abby truly understands what providing personalized service means and collaborates with financial partners to deliver robust service offerings in a simplified yet effective approach. She knows that business development and relationships go hand-in-hand. When a new client comes on board, Abby works with our team of advisors always acting in the client’s best interest with a prudent expert standard of care.
An active member of the community, Abby serves on multiple boards including OperaLex, Shriners Corporate Council, Fayette Education Foundation and Kentucky Craft History & Education (KCHEA). Additionally, she assists with local fundraising efforts for Blue Grass Community Foundation (BFCF), Commerce Lexington’s Resource Development Program, and KET. Abby also serves as the Chair for the American Heart Association’s Executive Challenge. As a demonstration of her community involvement, Abby was recognized as Commerce Lexington’s 2020 Volunteer of the Year.
